Providing Investment Education For Women

About Us
Picture of Camille.

I have personally known Camille Gaines for over twenty years and during our friendship she has been a constant advocate for financial freedom for women. Finally, after prodding from several women interested in learning more about how to achieve financial control, Camille decided to create TheFinancialWoman.com. The company goal is to share Camille’s many years of experience with other women who are interested in taking responsibility of their financial resources. She achieves her goal by providing an unbiased educational foundation in an understandable format.

Camille is a product of the 1960’s and 70’s, a time when it was uncommon for a woman to be involved in the family finances. Today, women still defer their money management decisions to others, either a spouse or financial planner, with little or no involvement. It is often at the time of divorce or even worse, death of a partner, that the woman is forced to become involved in her financial well being. Unfortunately, this is not an ideal time to learn. Investing articles in women’s magazines often discuss debt reduction, insurance, and reduced spending, while men’s magazines address stock selection and technical analysis. Camille founded TheFinancialWoman.com to offer serious investing information to women.

Camille Gaines has been involved both professionally and personally in the financial world for over 20 years. Her career began as an oil, gas and futures accountant at a NYSE energy firm, followed by work as a commercial real estate broker. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from The University of Mississippi and has taken numerous financial courses over the years to nourish her passion in the financial world. Camille holds a Texas real estate broker’s license and is a member of Loral Langemeier’s Live Out Loud community. Since the early 1980’s she has bought, sold and managed mutual funds, hedge funds, LP’s, angel investments, real estate, and has worked with professional money managers, CFP’s, brokers, attorneys and CPA’s. Camille is now ready to share with you the expertise she has gained along the way. Currently she trades stocks and equity option contracts on a daily basis using her personally developed covered call strategy, incorporating fundamental and technical analysis. Camille began investing in the 1980’s using Value Line as her primary resource, and she now uses numerous online resources that she will gladly share with you to get you on your way to financial freedom.

Being an investor, trader, entrepreneur, and mother, Camille understands that women want convenience and simplicity; therefore, she assures simple, yet in depth lessons without the financial jargon that often leads to intimidation. The topic of investing may seem overwhelming, but there is absolutely no reason for it to be that way. Teleclasses offer an avenue for learning in your own home, office, or ANY location with a phone signal while connecting to a community of like minded women across the country. She welcomes you to embrace empowerment and become your own Financial Woman.
